E-Day has come and gone

Well, its back to being unemployed again. Another E-Day has come and gone. For those who don't know, we were successful:
#3 CINCINNATI CTY-CHARTER AMEND
REPEAL ARTICLE XII
YES . . . . . . . . . . . . 65,082 53.78%
NO . . . . . . . . . . . . 55,934 46.22%

In fact, we were the only pro-glbt campaign in the country to win this cycle. Now it is time to start looking for another job.

Go Vote!

Today is Election Day! Get off your @$$, go vote, then work a polling place. Quit playing around on the internet. The fate of the free world is at stake. The least you could do is spend a few hours volunteering at a polling place. Check local times and listings for hours of a polling place near you.

It's A Boy!!!!!!!!!

I realize there is not much to see here, but the doctor insists that when the baby comes out in February it will be a boy!

This is from my good friend Cary who lives in Jacksonville. Despite the recent hurricanes, he and his family are doing fine.

Apparently, there are those who think that this blog is a "Shrine to Justin." Well, just so there is no misunderstanding, the reason is because Susan always rejects the pictures I try and post of her. But, since we don't want to have any false perceptions, here is a picture from our recent trip to Oregon for my cousin James' wedding. On the left is my sister Diana, in the middle is my cousin Carmel, and on the right is my beautiful wife Susan!

About time for an update

Well, I guess it's been a while since I've posted something. Just to get everyone/anyone up to speed, I am 5 months pregnant now. The due date is February 7 and we'll find out the sex in a week and a half. I'm hoping for a girl and Justin's hoping for a boy. We'll see how it goes..... Anyways, the pregnancy is finally going better after having nausea and vomiting for the first four months. I still get "sick" about once a week, which isn't bad considering the frequency of vomiting I experienced a month ago. I'm also definitely starting to show a round belly. A couple of days ago I was picking up an order at Olive Garden and a nice gentleman next to me asked when I was due. It was the first time that a stranger could tell that I was pregnant (by my appearance)and made mention of it. So, that was kinda fun.

Recently we've been so busy with Justin's campaign that we haven't had the luxury of doing a lot of the other fun baby preparation stuff we'd like to do. That will all come after November I guess.

Anyways, I don't have much to write for now-- maybe later.

This is from a recent event for the campaign that Justin is managing. He is keeping everyone busy until November 2nd as we work to get people to vote Yes on 3. Photo Courtesy: Greater Cincinnati GLBT News.

The sweetest kitty of all time!

Let no one ever say I do not like ice cream!
Well, it has been two years since we have used this. A lot has changed, including the fact that we have moved once again. This time we are in Cincinnati. Maybe we will reactivate this blog once again and try and stay in the loop with folks.
